Angle Calibration (Optional)

Angle Calibration (Optional)

This calibration is optional.

Do "Angle Calibration" only if you found significant difference between "Horizontal" and "Vertical" measurements of the same object.

**This deviation is mainly due to the gravity effect on the camera module; it may vary among different iPhones.

Principle of calibration:
Manually input 2 correct sizes of 2 target objects in different pitch angles (Horizontal and Vertical). The chosen target objects are NOT required to be in same size.

Steps of Calibration:
1. Tap "Cali".
2. Tap "Angle".

3. Hold the phone at 1m~1.5m high above the ground and facing down toward the ground. Tap Laser spot, so that the focusing frame can enclose the spot.
4. Tap "Measure".

5. Make sure laser spot is correctly captured at the center of the circle.
6. and 7. Define both ends of the reference length.
8. Tap "Measure".

9. Input the length of the reference object (in cm). Tap "OK".

10. Hold the phone at 1m~1.5m off the wall and facing toward the wall horizontally. Tap Laser spot, so that the focusing frame can enclose the spot.
11. Tap "Measure".

12. Make sure laser spot is correctly captured at the center of the circle.
13. and 14. Define both ends of the reference length.
